Dogs Available for Adoption.

These are just a few of the dogs we currently have looking for homes.

----------------------------------------------------

Poppy. 2 year old brown bitch.

Poppy is a 2 yr old chocolate doodle with a scruffy/fleece coat, which needs a lot of grooming,( she sheds quite a lot) and stands about 23" at the shoulder. She has excellent recall, and is begining to walk nicely on the lead.
Poppy is very affectionate, and loves cuddles, and will climb on your knee if you let her, she is very good with children and gets on with other dogs, in fact she has a lovely gentle nature. Though she does jump up when excited, I am working on that, and she is much better.
Poppy is crate trained, and is fine in the car.
All in all Poppy is a lovely Doodle who is a pleasure to foster.

----------------------------------------------------

Milo. 2 year old black dog.

Milo is a 2 year old male Labradoodle measuring up at 29” to the Shoulders. He is a big boy, but with his size comes the proportional amount of love.
He is currently being fostered by a family with two children aged 15 and 12 and two other dogs in the family. He is comfortable in their company and also does not seem a problem with much younger children.
He would be happy to be an only dog in a family as he adores all love and attention but he would be equally happy living in a family with other dogs. Milo has been left up to 5 hours without any signs of destruction or mess. His current fosterer believes he could go much longer if necessary. He differs from most doodles in the fact he normally keeps all four paws on the ground and although pleased to see you he is not over enthusiastic or likely to knock you over.
Milo is a big eater and not particularly fussy he has shown no signs of food aggression even when moving his bowl or adding extra food.
His current fosterer takes Milo for long walks and off lead twice daily. Milo’s recall is exceptional for a doodle and he is unlikely to run very far as he likes to be in sight of his owner. Milo is good on the lead however, in his excitement he can initially be a bit of a puller and could possibly benefit from some heel work. His current fosterer, although small, would be reluctant to let her youngest walk Milo on her own as he is easily distracted by cats. As well as cats Milo can also be attracted to children on bicycles and scooters as his current fosterers daughter is always on a scooter. After saying all of this Milo is more than happy to have a pyjama day if the weather is inclement or his owner does not feel up to the walk. He appears no more boisterous when missing the occasional walk. If not running around or jumping in rivers Milo loves nothing more than to curl up in front of the television with the family.
He is a good traveller shows no signs of sickness. Milo sleeps well at night. We are unsure if Milo is crate trained as he has not tried during his foster period. But given his temperament we would not foresee a problem with him being introduced to a crate if required. Although as previously stated Milo has shown no signs of being a destructive dog.

----------------------------------------------------

Lottie. 4 year old cream bitch. RESERVED

Lottie is a 4 year old, gorgeous, quite big, (26" to the shoulder) very bouncy exuberant Doodle, who needs loads of exercise.
She has a curly/fleece coat, which needs regular grooming, and she does shed.
She is good with other dogs and loves to play, and will chase a ball, and return it for as long as you will throw it.
Lottie is very affectionate, and loves to please, she has excellent recall and walks well on the lead.
Lottie is happy to go in the car and travels well.

-------------------------------------------------------

Reece. 4 year old apricot male.

Reece is a big bouncy Doodle who sheds like mad and has been in our kennels now for over a year. He's never been a house dog having lived in a kennel all of his life. He needs a country home where he can spend all day with his owner out and about and sleep in his kennel at night. He has a lovely temperament and is very willing to please.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Please Note:- Labradoodle Trust does not have a rescue centre. Our dogs are placed into foster homes all over the UK in order that they can be assessed in a home environment.

If you are interested in any of our dogs available for adoption, please read the Adoption Procedure before completing the online enquiry form.
